"We also discussed here today in Warsaw the opportunities that may arise after President Trump's inauguration. It is crucial for both Ukraine and Poland to be among the key allies of the United States. This is vital for the security of our entire Euro-Atlantic space," said Zelensky.
He emphasized that Ukraine and Poland need to "rethink their common security priorities in relations with neighboring regions, and he offered Ukraine's assistance in ensuring security in the Baltic Sea.
"In many ways, guaranteeing security in the Black and Baltic Seas is now interconnected, and we can assist our partners with the tools we use to protect our Ukrainian ports and trade routes," the President of Ukraine believes.
Zelensky also spoke about the importance of coordinating positions to ensure the security of nations and strengthen the European Union and NATO.
Zelensky traveled to Poland on January 15. He has already met with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk and Polish President Andrzej Duda.
