Zelensky noted that throughout the day he had meetings and discussions in Kyiv following the summit of the European Political Community in Budapest.
"The Ukrainian position [at the summit] was presented. Overall, the development of European policy for the upcoming period should be collective, coordinated, and directly supportive of our partnership in Europe and Euro-Atlantic relations. Just as global affairs decline without a strong America, maintaining stability for European nations is simply impossible without a strong Europe. Next week should also yield corresponding results – outcomes in our work with partners," he stated.
The President of Ukraine spoke about his conversation with Finnish President Alexander Stubb.
"[We discussed] our cooperation – both bilateral and with a broader range of partners. I am grateful to Finland for all the defense and political support we receive. There have already been 26 packages of military assistance. Thank you! We also talked about the prospects for the coming months, as well as Finland's contacts with other states and leaders, which are fundamentally important for the real world for Ukraine and all of Europe," Zelensky declared.
According to him, "everything is being done to compel Russia to engage in normal, substantive negotiations based on international law, rather than terror."
