Reflecting on the relationship between European political elites and Trump, Putin referred to it as "some kind of fuss." In his view, the leaders of European countries "will be gently wagging their tails" in front of the American president.
"Trump, with his character and determination – he will bring order there quite swiftly. And all of them, you will see, this will happen quickly; soon they will all stand at the feet of the master and will be gently wagging their tails," Putin believes.
He added that Trump has "a different understanding of what is good and what is bad, including in gender policy."
According to Putin, Europe allegedly "got confused" when Trump won the elections in the United States.
