"Appoint Sergey Olegovich Kislytsia as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine," the document signed by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal states.
He has represented Kyiv at the UN since December 2019 and has made strong statements regarding representatives of the aggressor state, Russia, at the UN.
In December 2024, President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Kislytsia from his position as Permanent Representative to the UN, as well as relieved him of his duties as Ukraine's ambassador to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and Trinidad and Tobago, which he had been fulfilling.
