Putin's diagnosis, expectations from Trump, Ukraine's missteps. An interview between Baцman and Nevzorov. Watch the video!

Путин и его диагноз, ожидания от Трампа, ошибки Украины. Интервью Бацман с Невзоровым. Смотрите видео!

During the interview, Batsman and Nevzorov discussed:

  • the war of the aggressive country, the Russian Federation, against Ukraine, the illegitimate president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and why the Russian people support him;
  • what will happen to Russia after Putin;
  • the Russian opposition;
  • what to expect from the next US president, Donald Trump;
  • the relationship between Trump and Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, as well as whether Meloni will become a new mediator between the US and Europe;
  • the three-hour interview of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky with American podcaster Lex Fridman.

"Twenty years ago, Trump would never have been able to shine in politics; there was a need for a different kind of people. There was a global grand optimism. Then came the time of pessimism, and the need arose for a hairy leader, a sort of 'caveman' (and he is indeed a true caveman in the eyes of millions and millions of people). The other matter is that he is completely uncontrollable by himself. He is a troublemaker, a braggart, and a poser, a person in a constant state of self-delight. All of this is neither bad nor discredits him. But it obliges him to perform noble deeds. Let’s hope that these noble deeds will match his status. That is, he must automatically find himself on the side of Ukraine. Putin has no choice anyway; any option for him is a losing one: if he submits to Trump, he will be cursed by the crazed greatness of Rus'; if he rises up, he will finally receive his Tomahawk in the forehead. This is the very decoration that he lacks the most," said the publicist.

Nevzorov was born in 1958 in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). He entered television in 1983 and became well-known in the late 1980s thanks to his authorial political program "600 Seconds," which aired on Leningrad Television (now "Channel Five"). In the 1990s, he hosted authorial programs on ORT. He was elected to the State Duma four times (1993, 1999, 2000, 2003). In the 2000s, he left politics.

He is currently focused on developing his YouTube channel and social media pages, particularly on Instagram and Telegram.

In 2022, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation accused Nevzorov of disseminating allegedly false information about the actions of the Russian armed forces in Ukraine and opened a criminal case. In 2023, a court in Moscow sentenced Nevzorov in absentia to eight years in a penal colony. In Russia, the journalist was placed on the wanted list and, along with his wife, designated as an "extremist organization", with their property in Russia seized for state revenue.

Currently, Nevzorov lives in Europe. In 2022, it became known that the journalist and his spouse received Ukrainian citizenship.
