He noted that alongside him were the Ambassador of Ukraine to the U.S., Oksana Markarova, and the U.S. Special Envoy, author of the book Ukraine, Gregory Slayton.
"America is the leader of the free world. To restore peace and security for Ukraine, Europe, and the free world, America and our allies must support Ukraine until victory for freedom is achieved," Pence added.
