He emphasized that Ukraine should determine when to hold presidential elections based on the provisions of its Constitution. "I believe this is a matter of the Ukrainian Constitution," the minister stated.
If Russia insists on a democratic confirmation of authority, then elections should be held in both countries, he highlighted.
After the committee meeting, Sikorski responded to a journalist's question regarding Poland's stance on holding presidential elections in Ukraine before the war concludes.
"This is an internal issue for Ukraine," said the Polish Foreign Minister.
