Goncharenko announced that his appearance on Turkish TV was canceled due to a T-shirt with a message about Putin.

Гончаренко сообщил, что его эфир на турецком телевидении отменили из-за футболки с надписью о Путине.

"Today I was supposed to participate in a live broadcast on the Turkish state television channel TRT World, which airs in English. But as soon as they saw my t-shirt that said 'Putin is the number one terrorist,' everything changed," wrote the MP.

According to Goncharenko, initially the representatives of the Turkish channel asked him to change his t-shirt, but he refused.

"Then they started insisting: 'Well, we still ask you to change your t-shirt.' My response was simple: either I go on air as I am, or I don’t go at all. If that doesn’t suit you, then cancel. The result? The broadcast was canceled," the MP explained.

Goncharenko noted that "this is not a defeat."

"This is further proof that the truth about Russia's crimes and its leader is uncomfortable for many. They are willing to censor even a simple t-shirt, just to avoid hearing that 'Putin is the number one terrorist.' But we will not remain silent. We will continue to call things by their names, even if someone doesn’t like it," assured the Ukrainian MP.

Goncharenko posted a screenshot showing the TRT World broadcast and a window with him in the lower right corner.

The MP published his post on Telegram at 21:38. On the YouTube channel of the Turkish broadcaster, where the live broadcast was streamed, a similar image as in Goncharenko's screenshot appeared at 21:28 (screenshot below).
