Thus, Harris enjoys the support of 51% of likely voters compared to 47% for Trump.
It is noted that the survey results are reminiscent of the 2020 outcomes, when current U.S. President Joe Biden received support from 51% of voters, while Trump had 47%.
Interestingly, Trump maintained his lead among male voters before the election, but this lead has narrowed to four percentage points from a 16-point advantage over Harris in October.
At the same time, 55% of women stated in the survey that they would support Harris in the election; however, her lead among women has decreased from 18 to 11 percentage points since last month.
Trump leads Harris among white voters – 54% to 45%.
According to the survey, 55% of likely voters have already cast their ballots, while a third plan to do so on Election Day, November 5.
Among those who have already voted, Harris leads Trump – 56% to 42%. Meanwhile, among those who have not yet voted, 53% intend to support Trump, while Harris has 45%.
The PBS News / NPR / Marist poll was conducted from October 31 to November 2, with a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
