According to the agency, 46% of respondents expressed support for Harris, while 43% plan to vote for Trump. In September, Harris was ahead of Trump by five percentage points – 47% to 42%.
Currently, Trump has more supporters on economic issues, and some voters appreciated the Republican's statements that illegal immigrants are "prone to crime". This view is held by 53% of respondents, whereas, according to Reuters, in a May survey, 45% agreed with this opinion.
The majority of Americans who participated in the survey consider the economy to be the main issue in the U.S. They believe that Trump has a better approach to addressing the "cost of living" problem – which will be a key issue for 70% of respondents.
At the same time, respondents believe Harris is the better candidate to tackle the wealth gap between the rich and the middle class in the U.S. 55% of respondents acknowledged that she "has a sharp mind and is capable of handling difficulties."
