The former head of the Odessa Regional Military Commissariat Yevgeny Borisov, who deceitfully traveled to Spain and the Seychelles for vacation during the war, was assigned a preventive measure following his arrest yesterday.
According to a report from the Telegram channel of the State Bureau of Investigation, the man has been sent to a pre-trial detention center with the possibility of posting bail exceeding 400 million hryvnias. The relevant decision was made by the court on Thursday, December 26:
"The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention with the alternative of posting bail in the amount of 402 million hryvnias for the former head of the Odessa Regional Military Commissariat."

It is worth noting that Borisov is accused of multiple offenses, including acquiring assets that exceed his legal income by more than 6,500 times the non-taxable minimum income of citizens, failing to report for duty on time, and evading military service obligations.
Yesterday, he was arrested after being released from the pre-trial detention center, from which he had been freed by posting bail of over 39 million hryvnias. Law enforcement officials stated that he had planned to leave the country.
Borisov has been given a new charge - for organizing official forgery and obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
