In addition to Poroshenko, the sanctions imposed by the National Security and Defense Council also target Kolomoyskyi, Boholyubov, Zhevaho, and Medvedchuk, according to media reports.

Согласно СМИ, помимо Порошенко, под санкции СНБО попали Коломойский, Боголюбов, Жеваго и Медведчук.

Forbes learned from a source within the leadership of the "Servant of the People" party that the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) imposed sanctions against businessmen and MPs during a meeting on February 12.

"The sanctioned list includes Kolomoisky, Zhevago, Poroshenko, Boholyubov, and Medvedchuk," three NSDC representatives informed "Ukrainian Truth."

Kolomoisky has been under arrest since September 2, 2023. In the fall, he received several charges from law enforcement – for fraud and money laundering amounting to 570 million UAH, for seizing 9.2 billion UAH from "PrivatBank", and for illegally acquiring 5.8 billion UAH due to abuse of power and unlawful actions with electronic accounts.

Boholyubov left Ukraine on the night of June 24, 2024, using forged documents. Sources from UP indicated that the reason for his departure was the preparation of suspicions by the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine regarding the "PrivatBank" case. On July 10, Gennady Boholyubov stated to "Ukrainian Truth" that he intended to "visit his mother and return home," but now he is uncertain whether he will return to Ukraine and where he will live.

Zhevago is estimated by Forbes to rank fifth among the richest Ukrainian businessmen with a net worth of $1.4 billion, and he is suspected of embezzlement and money laundering. At the end of 2022, he was detained in Courchevel.

Medvedchuk was announced to be suspected of treason and an attempt to embezzle national resources in May 2021. The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) detained Medvedchuk in April 2022 when he was attempting to leave Ukraine. In September, the ex-MP was handed over to Russia as part of a large prisoner exchange. In January 2023, it became known that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stripped him of Ukrainian citizenship. Following this, Medvedchuk lost his mandate in the Verkhovna Rada.

Poroshenko was announced by the State Bureau of Investigations on December 20, 2021, to be suspicious of treason and aiding terrorist organizations. According to the investigation, he is linked to the purchase of coal from temporarily occupied territories of ORDLO in 2014–2015, allegedly financing the terrorists of "DNR" and "LNR" by more than 200 million UAH. Poroshenko denied the accusations, stating that in 2014, the Ukrainian government and he as the head of state were "forced to save the situation."
