The Ministry of Health reminded that on February 7, Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers signed a declaration aimed at reducing and stabilizing prices for medications.
"The signatories, among other things, agreed to lower the wholesale prices of 100 of the most popular Ukrainian medicines by 30% starting March 1. Measures have also been proposed to create conditions for further price stabilization. The declaration is open for signing by other market participants," the statement says.
The list published by the ministry includes medications that are most frequently purchased by Ukrainians, from pharmaceutical manufacturers such as "Darnitsa" (20 items), "Farmak" (17), Kyiv Vitamin Plant (22), "Kusum Pharm" (five), "Yuria Pharm" (six), "Arterium" (eight), "InterChem" (10), "Viola" (two), and Borshchahivskiy Chemical-Pharmaceutical Plant (three).
"In particular, the list includes medicines used for coughs and colds, antihistamines, anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic drugs, vitamins and trace elements, medications for blood pressure, anti-ulcer drugs, sedatives, eye drops, nasal sprays, and more," the Ministry of Health explained.
