"The NCRECU has labeled the statements regarding the threat of electricity imports from Europe as manipulation. In recent months, Kharchenko has been one of those so-called experts who frequently engage in manipulation. I have the letter that this "expert" refers to. It does not mention the cessation of electricity imports. The Energy Community has provided advice and recommendations regarding certain organizational issues," the statement reads.
Kucherenco added that "after the latest staffing decision," a certain group of individuals is playing a manipulative game concerning Ukrainian energy.
"I would advise them to stop. In my opinion, it would be better to focus on the complex relationships with Hungary and Slovakia. The main electricity imports come through these countries, and there is certain diplomatic pressure from their side related to the transit of Russian gas. This is a complicated geopolitical process, but I am confident that it will not negatively impact the winter season," the politician noted.
