"Rumors that Alexander Kunitzky, a friend of [the fugitive MP Artem] Dmytruk, went on a business trip abroad and has not returned in time are not unfounded. 'Servant of the People' and the controversial blogger Kunitzky is not in Ukraine, our sources report," stated journalists from Bihus.info.
It is difficult to determine exactly how long Kunitzky has been abroad, the media notes. However, the information in the MP's profile on the Verkhovna Rada website witnesses that he has not participated in parliamentary votes at least since October 8.
It is unclear how long the MP's business trip was supposed to last; however, in December of last year, the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, expressed outrage that some MPs submitted several consecutive requests for business trips "with a total duration of almost 20 (!) days" during the pre-Christmas period.
Stefanchuk has yet to comment on the news of Kunitzky's "extended business trip." There are also no comments regarding the journalists' statements on Kunitzky's social media; previously a blogger, he has closed his Instagram account, while his last posts on Facebook and YouTube date back to October 10. Both contain accusations against the leadership of the National Police.
