Yermak reminded that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with both candidates for the White House. The conversation with Democratic representative Kamala Harris was "warm," but the meeting with the conservative candidate Trump also went "very well," assured the head of the Office of the President.
"I was there; I won't share details as it was behind closed doors, but I can say that we returned from the U.S. with the confidence that neither candidate wants to let [illegitimate Russian President Vladimir] Putin win this war and that military support will continue. Even Trump speaks about the need for a just peace. The Republican Party, although different from the Democratic Party, understands that we were attacked, and we cannot be defeated," he added.
