"Expected one leader but met another." Zelensky commented on his meeting with the Slovak delegation.

"Ждал одного лидера, а встретил другого", - заявил Зеленский о встрече с делегацией Словакии.

"Friday. I was expecting one leader from Slovakia – another one arrived. It was a good meeting with Slovak parliamentarians. The delegation was headed by Michal Šimečka. We had a very specific and constructive conversation," wrote Zelensky.

The Ukrainian president expressed gratitude to the Slovak people and emphasized that an open dialogue should strengthen relations between Kyiv and Bratislava, rather than Moscow.

"I am pleased that we can find common ground with the Slovak side and provide appropriate responses to questions regarding energy security and geopolitical certainty," noted Zelensky.

Šimečka reported on Facebook that Slovakia is ready for dialogue with Ukraine and called on Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to engage in this dialogue.

"We managed to reopen the doors that Prime Minister Fico unnecessarily slammed shut with his aggressive attacks. Instead of working, he went to Moscow to bow to the dictator and did nothing for the people of Slovakia," wrote Šimečka.
