Russian forces today struck a civilian enterprise in Kharkiv, resulting in injuries. This was reported by the mayor of Kharkiv, Ihor Terekhov.
"There were multiple strikes, not just one. The type of weapon used in the attack on the civilian facility is being determined. There is a massive fire on site and six people have been injured," the city mayor stated.
According to him, at least two individuals are trapped under the rubble at the impact site. Rescuers are doing everything possible to assist them.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, also reported damage to civilian production as a result of the attack.
It later became known that the number of injured has risen to 11.
"Among them is a 16-year-old child. Three are in serious condition," Synegubov informed.
Updated at 11:58. The number of injured in Kharkiv has increased to 16, the mayor reported.
Updated at 12:43. It is now known that there are 21 injured.
"17 of them have been hospitalized, including the 16-year-old teenager," Terekhov informed.
Recent Enemy Shelling of Kharkiv
Russian occupation troops continuously attack Kharkiv, primarily using guided aerial bombs.
On October 2, Russia attacked the city with guided aerial bombs, hitting a high-rise building. Ten people were injured. The impact site saw destruction from the first to the fourth floors of the building. The fire spread to other entrances.
On September 24, the Russian Federation struck a Kharkiv high-rise in the Kyiv district with a guided aerial bomb. As a result of the shelling, the floors in the building collapsed from the eighth to the third. This building had already sustained damage at the beginning of the war. There were casualties.
