"Its aim is to establish additional mechanisms for effectively countering any manifestations of corruption within the VVK system," the statement said.
It was noted that during the meeting, SBU officials reported that since the beginning of the year, the special service has opened 14 criminal proceedings related to illegal actions by VVK employees, and 31 individuals have been notified of their suspicion in committing corrupt offenses.
Moreover, in two instances, the illegal activities involved VVK employees as part of organized criminal groups.
