According to the statement, these measures will take effect on February 13.
The government emphasized that Switzerland has now prohibited the recognition and enforcement of certain decisions made by Russian courts, which claim exclusive jurisdiction over disputes between Russian and Swiss companies. This ban is aimed at protecting the rights of Swiss companies and shielding them from unjust financial harm.
The amendments include the continuation of various provisions regarding exceptions that allow Swiss companies to withdraw investments from Russia.
The press service also added that on December 23, 2024, information about 54 individuals and 30 companies and organizations was added to Switzerland's sanctions list against Russia.
