Stefanchuk announced the number of Ukrainian lawmakers who traveled to the U.S. for the prayer breakfast.

Стефанчук озвучил количество украинских депутатов, которые отправились на молитвенный завтрак в США.

According to him, the delegation consisted of 37 members of parliament, as they represent both the parliamentary opposition and the monobillion majority of the Rada.

Stefanchuk stated that "Ukraine faces a very important task – to reboot relations with Ukraine's strategic partner, the United States," including at the level of the U.S. Congress.

"That is why a large delegation – it seems, 37 people, who simultaneously represent (even more than half) the opposition; half represent, let's say, the monobillion majority. They went there to systematically work with those senators, with those congressional representatives to establish relations. [...] They are all there not at the state's expense; they went at their own cost to bring new connections, new visions, and everything else to Ukraine," the Rada speaker explained.

On February 6, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky criticized the members of parliament who traveled to the U.S. with a large delegation for a prayer breakfast. "The issue is not with the United States – the issue is with the constant trips, rather than the daily work for the people who elected them," the head of state noted. According to him, he is "very satisfied with the work of the parliament, but unfortunately, the parliament does not work every day."
