The Baltic states will impose sanctions on those who violently suppress protests in Tbilisi, according to Landsbergis.

The fourth day of anti-government protests in Georgia ended with a new crackdown and arrests. Resistance in the capital continued throughout the night, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia reported in the morning that a total of 224 people have been detained during the recent days of protests, charged with petty hooliganism, resistance, and disobedience to law enforcement.
