"We have good neighborly relations with Poland [...] There are various challenges; we have continually asked them to intercept missiles heading towards Poland. We have Striy, gas storage facilities, and the country relies on this gas supply for our livelihood, especially during winter," noted Zelensky.
According to him, Ukraine has requested Poland to "protect Striy," as it lacks sufficient air defense systems to safeguard the gas storage facility.
"What about the Poles? Are they intercepting? No. The Poles said they are ready to intercept, but only if we are not alone in this decision and if NATO supports us," the president explained.
