"They wrote that I have 'blood on my hands up to my elbows'... What haven't I done! Despite the fact that I have never been held [accountable] even as a witness. I have never even been to the district police department. But if despite all this I am a 'criminal authority' and someone wants to talk about it, I have nothing to say to them... I can't claim that I was an angel in the 1990s; that would be a lie because we were defending our lives, our business... Anyone who lived through those years understands how it happened. Yes, I am an authority, but where is the crime? Is the crime that I didn’t pay?" – said the businessman.
Krivetskiy was born in 1972 in the village of Mokhnate in the Lviv region. He has two higher education degrees: in 1995, he graduated from the chemical technology faculty of Lviv Polytechnic Institute (specializing in "chemical technologies of silicate and non-metallic materials"), and in 2005, he graduated from the Faculty of International Relations of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (specializing in "international economic relations"). In 2019, he defended his candidate dissertation at the private institution "Lviv University of Business and Law" and obtained a PhD in economics.
Since the mid-1990s, he has been working in business. After obtaining his first higher education, he worked as a manager at a company engaged in packaging and selling food products, then started his own business. He currently holds assets in the hotel, restaurant, and agricultural sectors. In particular, he owns the five-star resort complex Edem Resort Medical & SPA near Lviv.
A member of the "Svoboda" party, he is referred to by the media as one of the main sponsors of the party. From 2010 to 2012, he was a deputy of the Lviv Regional Council, and from 2012 to 2014, he was a people's deputy, part of the "Svoboda" faction.
