According to Umerov, the United Kingdom is "acting proactively" by supplying Ukrainian forces with essential ammunition: artillery, mortars, air defense systems, and anti-tank mines.
"This sets an example for other partners, as timely deliveries enable more effective destruction of the enemy," the Ukrainian minister stated. "By the end of the year, more AS-90 artillery systems will be on the front lines. There are also positive developments regarding long-range weapons and robotic systems – the enemy will feel the impact on the battlefield."
Umerov noted that he had agreed with Healy to work on a list of priority needs for Ukraine, which will be funded through frozen Russian assets.
"The key issue is investment in the Ukrainian defense industry. The United Kingdom is already involved in production, but our goal is to expand these capabilities and increase production in the defense industry," emphasized the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
