According to him, it is "inexcusable" for Washington to sell out Kyiv by agreeing to the loss of Ukrainian territories and security guarantees or NATO membership.
"I have warned many times that Trump will favor [the aggressor country] Russia in negotiations between [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky and [illegitimate head of Russia Vladimir] Putin... The military outcomes for the Russians have been disastrous, yet Trump justifies Putin's decision to invade," he stated in his post.
Bolton predicts that the damage from Trump’s concessions to Putin will extend far beyond Central Europe.
"It is not in our national interests to allow the unprovoked aggression of the Kremlin against Ukraine to prevail. A disgrace for the Trump administration," wrote the former associate of the White House chief.
