"Iceland, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Sweden. Very productive. We agreed on new support packages for our defense and also for our energy sector. We discussed investments in our weapons production, specifically in Ukraine, and the development of joint defense projects," the president shared. "There will be more results. Shells, equipment, drones – everything necessary."
Additionally, work on air defense is ongoing, Zelensky added.
"In particular, at the NATO summit in Washington, there was a clear and specific agreement regarding air defense systems for Ukraine, as well as the equipping of brigades. Currently, this has not yet been fully implemented. We are counting on our Nordic partners to assist us in discussions with other partners. Agreements must be honored, especially in the context of such a war," the president emphasized.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to all the Northern European countries for their support of the victory plan and for their complete understanding regarding Ukraine's invitation to NATO.
"Ukraine always offers only what can genuinely help to push for real peace. We never tire of explaining this, particularly to our partners in Berlin, Washington, and others. We also see the outlines of a meeting in the 'Ramstein' format, which is expected to occur in the coming weeks. This is important. It is crucial that each support package is fully realized and that our steps with partners are truly collaborative and as effective as possible," the president underscored.
