In Kyiv's Pechersk district, a significant pipe burst occurred, releasing hot water. This was reported by the press service of KP "Kyivteploenergo" on Facebook.

"Today, around 10:00 AM, a leak of the heat carrier happened during the commissioning of the heating network on Deloivaya Street. Preparatory work was being carried out at the site following a comprehensive reconstruction of the heating network in this area," the statement said.

According to "Kyivteploenergo," the pipeline was depressurized during the filling process with water, resulting in the heat carrier spilling into the trench.

"The leak is now contained. The causes of the incident are being investigated. The damage will not affect the heating supply to the central districts of the capital," the company added.
