Tikhiy noted that the date of the visit has already been set, but he will not disclose it "for security reasons."
"I can confirm that we are expecting General Kellogg in Ukraine. We will be happy to host him, and we look forward to communicating and discussing our viewpoint. First and foremost, we aim to convey information from the Ukrainian side that is crucial to consider when developing the new team's vision for achieving a just peace," the spokesperson explained.
Reuters reported that in early January, Kellogg intends to visit Kyiv and several other European capitals.
Later, Kellogg himself stated that Ukraine and Russia are allegedly already ready for negotiations regarding a ceasefire. He noted that he believes in Trump's ability to stop the war, even "this year."
