The security service confirmed the information announced by MP from "European Solidarity" Oleksiy Honcharenko that the Shevchenkivskyi District Court of Kyiv ordered to provide Shufrych with conditions to fulfill his powers as a people's deputy.
"Shufrych will continue to be held in custody at the SBU detention center, and he will be subject to the general obligations of a prisoner. The execution of his parliamentary duties will be carried out within the limits of his stay in the SBU isolation facility. In particular, this includes the preparation and sending of written appeals, requests, and more," the SBU stated.
The agency noted that on December 24, 2024, the Shevchenkivskyi District Court denied Shufrych's lawyers' petition to transport the MP to a session of the Verkhovna Rada.
"Thus, the court's decision excludes his movement to the parliament," the SBU emphasized.
