In Dnipro, an explosion occurred in one of the city's central districts, resulting in one fatality. This information was reported by the regional police.
"As a result of the explosion, preliminary reports indicate that one person has died, and there are injuries, including two police officers. The injured have been taken to the hospital," the statement said.
According to police, the explosion happened around 14:45. The exact cause of the blast has not been specified, but there have been no reports of a Russian shelling. Currently, an investigative operational group and bomb disposal experts are working at the scene of the tragedy.
Local Telegram channels report that an explosive device was triggered, possibly placed under or near a vehicle. Specialists are now examining the area for other explosive devices.
