Today, November 4, in France, during a fight involving approximately fifteen people, one victim had their fingers severed (or chopped off), while another sustained a head injury.
According to a report from Le Figaro, the incident occurred on Monday around eight in the morning on the RER express at the Ozoir-la-Ferrière station (Seine-et-Marne department). It is reported that about fifteen individuals armed with axes and knives boarded the train traveling from Paris to Torcy.
"Some were injured. One of them had several fingers cut off. People began to scream and scatter in different directions," an eyewitness recounted.
It is believed that the fight broke out between rival gangs from different towns.
According to the French press, four people were injured as a result of the brawl, with two sustaining serious injuries and two suffering minor injuries. Preliminary reports indicate that one of the victims has a head injury, while another has lost part of an arm.
The head of the Île-de-France region, Valérie Pécresse, stated that the entire country is suffering due to the increasing frequency of gang-related "conflicts."
"I urge the ministers of internal affairs and justice to join forces to put an end to this spiral of impunity and violence. I have requested SNCF to provide surveillance footage to identify the criminals..." she wrote on the social network X.
It is currently known that several minors were involved in the fight.
