This morning, a significant traffic accident occurred in the Lviv region involving a bus traveling from "Warsaw to Odessa," resulting in three fatalities and over 30 injuries reported.
Updated at 8:40 AM. According to the head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, three individuals have died, and 35 others are injured with varying degrees of severity. Among the injured are six children.
The chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration, Maxim Kozitsky, stated that the accident took place on the Lviv bypass road near the village of Chishki on the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway, involving an international passenger bus "Warsaw - Odessa," a "Nova Poshta" cargo truck, and several passenger vehicles.
"As of 07:00, one person has been reported dead and 27 injured (with injuries of varying severity)," he reported.
He later added that two fatalities were confirmed, and subsequently, reported that there are now three deceased in the accident.
Accident Involving Ukrainians
On October 10, a fatal accident occurred in Poland involving a minibus carrying Ukrainians. The collision happened near the Polish-Ukrainian border checkpoint in Medyka. A truck crashed into a minibus that was carrying seven Ukrainians. As a result of the accident, two individuals—a man and a woman aged 45 and 60—lost their lives.
Earlier, a bus carrying 50 Ukrainian citizens was involved in a traffic accident in Romania. Nine passengers sustained minor injuries.
