On November 2, a fatal traffic accident occurred near Magdeburg, Germany, resulting in the death of a 38-year-old Ukrainian, according to BILD.

According to police reports, the Ukrainian citizen was an employee of a towing service. The accident happened while he was loading a vehicle that had been involved in an accident onto a tow truck. During this process, he was struck by another vehicle.

The publication added that an ambulance doctor confirmed the Ukrainian's death. Preliminary information indicates that the driver who hit the man fled the scene of the accident.

"The A2 motorway towards Berlin had to be partially closed due to extensive recovery work, as well as for a detailed investigation of the accident," BILD noted.
