"Today has involved a lot of international work. Our teams are collaborating with America as we prepare for negotiations this Friday. An agreement with America. The support of our state and people. Guarantees of peace and security are the key to ensuring that Russia no longer disrupts the lives of other nations," said Zelensky.
He announced his upcoming meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump.
"It is important for me and for all of us in the world that American assistance is not halted. Strength is needed on the path to peace," emphasized the President of Ukraine.
According to him, Ukraine is currently analyzing the military aid received from its partners.
"We are analyzing the levels of support coming from each partner: America, Europe, and other parts of the world. What is irreplaceable, and what can be substituted. We are working to ensure that Ukrainian positions are protected in any case. This is one of the key conditions for the diplomacy we need – for the right diplomacy that guarantees peace for Ukraine," stated Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine also spoke about his communication that day with Portuguese Prime Minister Luís Montenegro.
"We coordinate all our efforts with a broad range of partners. Europeans must be part of all diplomatic efforts concerning Europe, and this issue is not just about the present; it should always be this way: Europe must never be left behind – second or third tier. I thanked Portugal for its unwavering support, and we agreed on further contacts," the President shared.
