Zelensky aims to strengthen Ukraine's collaboration with France in weapon manufacturing.

"We discussed the points of the plan and our strategy in detail. Thank you for the productive conversation and all the questions that help us shape a common vision of how to bring peace closer. We appreciate France's leadership on this path and have agreed to continue working at the team level to further define our steps," he wrote.

One of the topics of conversation was also the implementation of the peace formula, Zelensky added.

"We talked about the situation on the battlefield and the things that can strengthen our positions and provide more protection for Europe. I am grateful for the training and equipping of our Anna of Kyiv brigade. A key focus of our negotiations is joint arms production. We need to expand this cooperation. We agreed that work on this will take place at the level of defense ministers," the president informed.

During a press briefing, which Zelensky publicized on X, he thanked France for supporting Ukraine and called Macron a strong friend of the Ukrainian people.

"I am very grateful for all the days, not just for today's meeting," noted the President of Ukraine. "We appreciate everything, especially the preparations for winter. We need your support, and I am thankful for all that you have done for us."

Macron described the conversation with Zelensky as very good. He noted that the Ukrainian president outlined his plan in detail and defined the work for the upcoming weeks. He also mentioned the training of the Ukrainian brigade in France. "We are welcoming the first Ukrainian soldiers in the Grand Est region, where we were yesterday. And this is a very unique model of cooperation," he emphasized.

In response to a question about the situation in eastern Ukraine, Zelensky also spoke about the shortage of equipment that Ukraine is facing.

"A major shortage of equipment is the first issue. And secondly, as we discussed, it concerns certain munitions and permissions for the use of some long-range [munitions]. Our production of long-range drones is currently insufficient. Therefore, we are seeking resources, funding for this, for domestic production, and we expect permissions from our partners," he said.
