Zelensky on conscription age: The focus should be on preserving lives, not stockpiling weapons.

"The media frequently discusses lowering the conscription age for Ukrainians to send them to the front. We must focus on equipping our existing brigades with technology and training personnel to effectively use this equipment. We should not compensate for a lack of resources and training with the youth of our soldiers," he wrote.

The President of Ukraine believes that the priority should be on supplying missiles and reducing Russia's military capabilities, rather than lowering the conscription age in Ukraine.

"The goal should be to save as many lives as possible, rather than preserving weapons in warehouses. The most important thing is to work together on how to end this war. This is our main priority," Zelensky emphasized.

He recalled a recent meeting in Paris with French President Emmanuel Macron and newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump. According to the President of Ukraine, during his conversation with them, he focused specifically on this priority for ending the war.

Zelensky also thanked Trump "for his strong determination to end this war justly."

"This is the right approach, and it is crucial that all details are carefully worked out to ensure a truly strong peace. We know that America is capable of achieving extraordinary results – things that others have not been able to accomplish. To succeed in ending this war, we need unity – the unity of America, Europe, and everyone in the world who values security – as well as strong positions and guarantees of peace," the President of Ukraine stressed.

According to Zelensky, he told Trump that the illegitimate president of the aggressor country, Russia, Vladimir "Putin only fears him," Trump, and possibly China.

"Only determination can lead this war to a just conclusion and ensure lasting peace. We must act now to restore the proper international order," Zelensky stated.
