"I have heard details regarding the import of electricity from the European Union to Ukraine through Slovakia – approximately 19%. This is part of the overall volume. We are also collaborating with other neighbors in the EU," said Zelensky.
He instructed Ukrainian government members to work alongside the European Commission and all partners in Europe to ensure the stability of the unified European energy system and its energy regulations.
"No matter what [illegitimate president of the aggressor country, Russia] Putin said to [Slovak Prime Minister Robert] Fico when he was in the Kremlin, European rules must prevail over any connections that an individual may have with Moscow," the president emphasized.
