Separately, Zelensky thanked Argentina for its "important steps" in supporting Ukraine during Milei's first year in office, including participation in the inaugural peace summit and joining the coalition for the return of Ukrainian children, the international Crimea Platform, and the "Ramstein" format, as reported by the Office of the President.
Zelensky also informed Milei about the Russian airstrike on December 20, which affected foreign embassies, including the Argentine one.
"Javier Milei assured that Ukraine can continue to count on Argentina's full support. The leaders also discussed the development of economic cooperation, particularly the restart of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation and the commencement of intergovernmental consultations," the Office of the President stated.
