Zelensky: Russia has fully engaged another nation in the war. We will defend ourselves against North Koreans as well.

Зеленский: Россия привлекла в конфликт еще одно государство. Мы готовы защищаться и от Северной Кореи.

"Today, there are already preliminary reports indicating that Russians have begun deploying soldiers from North Korea – a significant number. They are integrating them into combined units and utilizing them in operations in the Kursk region. So far, it's only there. However, we have information suggesting possible use on other sections of the front," he stated.

According to the President of Ukraine, losses among North Koreans are "already noticeable."

"In fact, Moscow has dragged another state into this war, and it has done so to the fullest extent. If this is not escalation, then what is the escalation that many have spoken about? It is [illegitimate President of the Russian Federation Vladimir] Putin who is taking steps that expand and prolong this war. He is the one pushing away the possibility of peace. He wants to add problems both in Asia and around the world. This is precisely why the Russians are training North Korea in modern warfare," Zelensky believes.

He emphasized that "Moscow is ignoring the calls from all countries, from China and Brazil to many others, to do everything possible for de-escalation."

"If there is no strong global response, Russia worsens the war. It has always been this way. We will defend ourselves, including against these North Koreans. We will continue to act in coordination with all our partners to stop this war – to stop it reliably, with guaranteed peace," Zelensky declared.

The president highlighted that next week, representatives from Ukraine will discuss sanctions against Russia, support for the Ukrainian defense industry, and investments in "collective European defense and strong diplomacy."

"This is something that should increase every week so that next year, together with our partners, we can achieve our main goal," Zelensky said.
