The video recording has been published on Facebook by the Office of the President.
"Wanting it doesn't mean it will happen, and I am here without reproaches. I am simply stating that we are where we are. We are at war with the Russians, and that is a fact. This is the most challenging enemy of this century," noted Zelensky.
According to him, this is about "not only the rights of people," but also about the fact that the illegitimate Russian president, Vladimir Putin, wants to "tear Ukraine apart," and this is a "significant challenge."
"We want a just end to the war. I am convinced that a quick end to the war means losses. [...] I am not familiar with this idea; we have not discussed it with President Trump. I believe he will prepare with his team for various proposals or viewpoints," Zelensky pointed out.
One thing is clear – Trump wants the war to end, the Ukrainian president added.
