"As I told them [on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference], the American side needs more details, more understanding of what is happening, and to truly grasp the realities. Not under someone else's influence, but to understand it themselves, to see it [...] To do everything possible to find the opportunity, the time [...] and to be as close to the front as possible. I told Kellogg that I would go with him to the front if he was ready," – Zelensky stated.
According to the president, it is important for him that Kellogg sees the situation at the front for himself.
"I really want him to have a report from the military, to have a meeting with [Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr] Syrsky, maybe with brigade commanders [...] And he will see what is happening, the consequences, the effects in the civilian world [...] due to missile strikes. And after that, I really want him to bring all this back to President Trump. To show, to tell," – noted Zelensky.
After this, in his opinion, the parties will likely be closer to understanding how Ukraine sees the situation.
"At least steps. And after that, I am ready to discuss these steps with President Trump," – Zelensky concluded.
