"If it's for the world of Ukraine, if you really need me to step down – I'm ready. I can trade this for [Ukraine's accession to] NATO if such conditions exist. Right away, so we don't have to discuss it for long," Zelensky stated.
He emphasized that he is focusing on Ukraine's security now, not in 20 years.
"I don't intend to be in power for decades, so this is definitely my focus and desired dream," the president highlighted.
Zelensky reiterated that he believes joining the Alliance is the cheapest option for security guarantees for Ukraine.
