1In the Transcarpathian region, a hand grenade exploded, resulting in the deaths of three individuals.
According to the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Transcarpathian region, the report of this tragedy was received late the previous evening.
Specifically, on November 29 at approximately 22:40, a 14-year-old resident of the village of Maliy Berezny in the Uzhhorod district called the police. The teenager reported that his grandfather was lying motionless on the floor, but he could not provide further details about the situation.
A forensic investigative group, specialists from the forensic laboratory, and others promptly responded to the call. Inside the house, in the middle of the room, the police found three individuals: the 32-year-old mother of the minor caller, his 55-year-old grandmother, and his 70-year-old grandfather.
Authorities established that the family had been consuming alcoholic beverages that evening:
During the gathering, the 32-year-old woman from Transcarpathia picked up a grenade, the origin of which is currently unknown, and pulled the pin, leading to the explosion. All three individuals present in the room died.
While examining the crime scene, the police discovered three additional grenades hidden in the premises, which were seized and sent for examination.
A criminal investigation has been initiated under part 2 of article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Law enforcement is also working to determine the origin of the seized ammunition.

As reported by UNIAN, three young boys died in a fire in the Rivne region, and another child was hospitalized. The tragedy occurred in the village of Pevzha in the Dubno district, in a house where a large family resides. According to the police, the 28-year-old mother put her one-month-old baby to sleep in one of the rooms and went to the summer kitchen to prepare food. Meanwhile, three of her sons, two four-year-olds and a two-year-old, remained in another room playing. Four other children were at school.
The house caught fire. People attempted to rescue the children - all four boys were transported by car to meet the medical personnel, but upon arrival, the medics confirmed the death of one child. Resuscitation efforts began for the other victims; however, the lives of two additional boys could not be saved.
