The strange rumble that alarmed the residents of Kyiv today is not related to military actions and is a result of a technological process at one of the local enterprises. This was reported by the official portal of Kyiv.
"The technological noise in Kyiv is associated with the operation of a large heat source on the right bank of the city. This is an integral part of the production process, as it involves large-scale equipment," the city authorities stated.
The press service declined to provide further details "for safety reasons," but assured that the situation "poses no threats or risks" and is a "controlled production process."
Meanwhile, the capital's social media does not see the need for such secrecy and directly reports that the loud rumble is caused by steam being released at one of the city's thermal power plants.
It is worth noting that such loud noises from the power plant equipment have been alarming Kyiv residents with some regularity. In particular, local social media reported a similar incident just a month ago.

As reported by UNIAN, after the latest rocket attack, stabilization power outages were implemented in Kyiv from 06:00 to 22:00.
Chief Researcher at the National Institute for Strategic Studies, Gennady Ryabtsev, stated that as a result of the Russian shelling, not a single energy facility in the capital and the region was hit. However, since Kyiv is part of the overall energy system of the country, it was necessary to introduce blackout schedules due to a generation deficit in the overall system.
